Art by Halo: GoC belongs to Halo belongs to 343industries and Bungie (Do they still get credit? They did make it up to start with. Eh, I'm going to credit them anyway.)
They're milking the shit out of Halo....imma HUGE fan of the Halo franchise but even I know when its starting to lose its touch, sorry folks, this fan doesn't approve :/ I do however like what you came up with for the art
No? Okay, well I love the franchise, and I will agree about the whole milking bit. But loosing touch? Not really, its still got the same feel. BVGStudios are going to make sure of that with GoC, can't really say the same about 343i though. Halo: Galaxy of Combat is going to be a solid multiplayer experience, no single player what-so-ever.(Think massive team slayer, UNSC vs Covies)
Maybe give it a go when it releases? You might find you like it.
well yeah im still gonna try it, but im saying its losing its touch because Halo was boss when it first came out as an FPS. Halo CE made Halo what it was as it was. Wasn't too thrilled with Halo Wars being a RTS but I loved the story because Ensemble always did a good job with their stuff, thought that was purely epic (which is what made it a good game). Halo was also renowned for its story line which is what also made it great and why I love it too. But if Halo: GoC is just online multiplayer, it doesn't sound like there's going to be a story, just a bunch of shooting like MW2. I don't want that, I want a good story with it too, like why I'm there and fighting these guys. My main point is, if they keep making games for Halo, it's going to get dull after a while. What makes a good series is the one that might seem to end a little early (but nonetheless has a conclusion like Halo 3) and sure we get a little sad for it ending, but that's when we really remember it for the fantastic game that it was. And thats when it really sticks with us.
Well GoC is going to focus on the UNSC/Covenant war, not much has been released as it's all top secret, and I'm under those rules too, but GoC will put you at the heart of the war, you will fight to save a planet or to destroy it.
But in saying that you want a story, I can tell the Dev's, they want it to be a game that the community wants, so input from you and others is a major factor in the games content. I'll see what I can do.
Thank you
